Rotation Projects

Rotation Projects

Following on from the intensive training provided in the core courses and advanced courses over the first two terms, students spent the remainder of their first year undertaking two 11-week research projects in two different research groups within the university, which were tailored to meet the likely requirements of their substantive D.Phil. project. Students were encouraged to undertake one primarily theoretical, and one primarily experimental rotation. Students were required to write a short dissertation on each of these rotations, written in the style of a journal article.
